Printing and Embroidery Guide

The printing and embroidery guide below should help to answer any questions regarding which method of garment decoration is the best to use.  See individual pages for further details and visuals.

When to Print

There are many different printing methods available to ensure your customised design can be printed on to t shirts:

Screen printing is the most viable for large bulk orders (minimum of 50).  Low cost screen printing can be achieved on larger runs.  T-shirts remain the most popular item for silk screen printing with hoodies and sweatshirts also required.

Vinyl printing really comes in to it's own for custom clothing e.g. personalised tour shirts, stag and hen parties.  A personalised logo (e.g. individual) can be vinyl printed on the front of a polo shirt and generic tour information can be screen printed on the back.  Vinyl printing can also be used to customize running shirts and vests.

Sublimation printing is also available.  Logos can be sublimated directly on to white polyester garments.  Sublimation flock can be used to apply a multi colour logo on to non white and non poyester garments.

When to Embroider

With high colour intensity (up to 12 colours) and stitch quality we can embroider almost any design onto almost any clothing type, from t-shirts to corporate shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets, PVC to leather.

Embroidery is suited to large or small runs.  It is a very versatile method of applying a multi coloured logo on to clothing, workwear etc.  Embroidery can also be used in combination with printing where some garments may require an embroidered logo on the front and a printed logo on the back.
