This design uses a method of film production called 'half tone' to attains the effect on the cotton t-shirt. The 'half tone' screen print method breaks up the original artwork into varying size dots to make it possible to create several shades from a single colour design. This is known as a graduated tint i.e. where grey goes from almost white to almost black.
